Our own cello teacher has an exciting concert coming up in Streatley-on-Thames: Celtic Baroque and more, spiced with a delicious sense of fun!

Hot-foot from playing Wembley Arena with The BBC Concert Orchestra, Simon Mayor, ‘one of the world’s great mandolinists’, celebrates the wonderful melodies of Irish folk legend Turlough O’Carolan (1670-1738)… as well as Vivaldi and much more.

He’s joined by an illustrious cast of virtuoso musicians including silver-voiced songstress and mandobass player Hilary James, award winning French born cellist Florence Petit, classical guitarist and ukulele maestro Elias Sibley and three-time UK banjo champion Richard Collins recently of West End shows ‘Oklahoma’ and ‘Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas’.
