French Food Tasting

on

Last week Lower V French students participated in a French Food tasting within their classes.

Each person bought in an item of traditional French food and the class had a blast discovering different dishes from all around France and we also indulged in many sweet treats and some amazing French drinks.

Describing the food we ate made us use a larger array of French vocabulary than the few adjectives we would lean towards whilst writing in lessons as we were trying to describe what we were tasting as accurately as we could.

My personal favourite dish was the pain au chocolat and the eclairs. We also had drinks like orangina and grenadine which were very refreshing. The food tasting was great and was a really good way to end off the topic. I really loved the baguettes as they were très croustillantes!
