Surrey Storm Aspire Program

on

On Saturday 21 January, I took part in the Surrey Storm Netball competition at Surrey Sports Park with other Aspire athletes. The atmosphere is electric and playing on the same court that the professionals play on was truly amazing.

The Surrey Storm Aspire Programme is a training session that takes place once a week. The programme provides one to one training sessions to help build careers for the future. To help challenge ourselves, Storm organises a tournament with other teams nearby to help practise game time strategies. The one to one sessions also give me extra time to work on myself as a netball player.

Surrey Storm has been wonderful, and is an opportunity helpful for young kids aspiring to become England Netball players. I am extremely grateful for the experience so far, and also excited to develop myself to get to the next level of netball.
