Spanish Omelette

on

In our Spanish lesson last week we had an amazing opportunity to go to the food room and cook a Spanish omelette, using a recipe from Señora Trujillo’s grandmother. I think that everyone enjoyed being able to have some time away from the classroom, while learning some new vocab in a fun way, as we were told instructions in Spanish.

Most people can probably agree that the hardest part of the experience was flipping the omelette with just a plate and the pan, whilst trying not to drop it! It was all worth it in the end, though, as we had a beautiful Spanish omelette to take home and eat, and the memories of having cooked with our friends whilst being told instructions in a completely different language!
