As we stride ahead into the Autumn Term, it is important that students find time to relax, socialise and enjoy their time with us. Last Thursday, our Sixth Formers enjoyed a fabulous trip to see Six the Musical at the Vaudeville Theatre in London. Students enjoyed having time before the performance to get dinner with their friends at their choice of eatery.

Six was written by two University of Cambridge graduates, and premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017. It has since gone onto critical acclaim in the West End and Broadway. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st century girl power.

The performance was amazing and to top it off, a member of the audience commented how wonderfully The Abbey students conducted themselves!
