Dear Abbey Community,

During the summer holiday, I was privileged to get to know the residents of the St Lukes Care Home in Caversham. I’m going back to them in December and I got permission to bring in gifts such as winter hats, gloves, socks and blankets. I was wondering if you could donate a new or good quality second hat, a pair of gloves, a pair of socks or a blanket. Any small item will put a smile on an old person’s face and keep them warm during these challenging times. Please leave your donations at the Junior School reception who will kindly collect them.
