Junior School Music

on

On Thursday 25 January Kensington Hall was filled with musicians and an enthusiastic audience.

The twenty members of the String Orchestra gave their first performance of the year to start the concert. This was followed by an array of soloists with many of them playing in a concert for the first time.  Music from Aladdin, Mary Poppins and a variety of classical pieces entertained the packed hall.

Studio Sounds finished with an uplifting rendition of an Ukrainian folk song called Hopak by the String Ensemble.  We are looking forward to hearing more of our Junior School Ensembles in future Studio Sounds, the next of which will take place on March 12.
