The Interludes Recital Series resumed on Wednesday when three performers shared their talents with a small and appreciative audience.

Haylen began the recital on the cello with the beautiful “Swan” from the Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens and this was followed by an impressive vocal performance by Zara of “Spring Song”, most fitting for the season!

Linda then concluded the recital by playing two movements from the extremely complicated Suite Italienne for violin by Stravinsky. Linda is currently preparing for her forthcoming diploma exam and the Interludes Recitals are an ideal opportunity for students to give exam pieces an ‘outing’ – so why not volunteer to share your music soon?!
