Art installation

on

In March of this year, the Art Department installed a selection of student artwork in the school auditors’ offices at Reading Bridge House. Excitingly, our auditors then made contact to say they had arranged for an article celebrating the students artwork to be written by The Business Magazine and could we arrange for the students to come and have their photos taken with their artwork.

Last Thursday, 8 June, this came to fruition with a group of our Key Stage 3 students attending a photoshoot at the offices of James Cowper Kreston. This was a fun photoshoot where the students were encouraged to strike a pose by a professional photographer with almost 30 years experience. The magazine also asked them for their views on having their artwork exhibited in the offices.

Please take a look at the article titled ‘Reading office of accountancy firm James Cowper Kreston given a colour boost with artwork from local school’ https://thebusinessmagazine.co.uk/companies/reading-office-of-accountancy-firm-james-cowper-kreston-given-a-colour-boost-with-artwork-from-local-school/ Many thanks to Samantha Wooff at James Cowper Kreston for arranging things with The Business Magazine in order to share and celebrate our students’ artwork!
