Young Enterprise Dragons Den 2022

on

Last week Cammna Cards pitched their business ideas at the Young Enterprise Dragons Den event. The Dragons gave us insightful feedback regarding our different card games, which aim to encourage socialisation and awareness for age-appropriate mental health causes. We have 3 separate card games – our first game is aimed towards younger children and follows the storyline of a frog called Suzie. Our second is aimed at teenagers and is a game of bluff. Our third game is a very strategic game for older teenagers and adults. The event was a fantastic opportunity to receive first-hand advice, and the pitch itself helped us gain confidence in our public speaking abilities. It marked the launch of Cammna Cards! We are more excited than ever to launch our card games, which make a great Christmas present, so remember to keep an eye out for us: Cammna Cards.

When preparing to attend the Dragon’s Den pitch competition, team Solace were simultaneously nervous and excited to step outside of our comfort zone and try something new. However, the nerves quickly faded once we began the presentation as the Dragons seemed enthusiastic about and interested in our ideas surrounding our developing business. The Dragons questions mentioned several aspects of both production and marketing that we had already discussed in our meetings, giving us confidence in our abilities and enthusiasm that we hope to carry forward over the course project. Fabio the Frog will be making a huge leap into The Abbey market very soon!

The Abbey’s third Young Enterprise company has picked up on the latest trend in sustainable organisation – tote bags. Aptly named TOTEally U are developing a range of creative designs which they are planning to release in time for that unique Christmas gift.
