World Mental Health day

On Tuesday 10 October at 10am, The National Literacy Trust encouraged the nation to #Take10ToRead in support of World Mental Health Day.

Lower I embraced the opportunity; participating in an online video call with author Susie Dent who reflected on her new book Roots of Happiness: 100 Words for Joy and Hope, and then reading a book of their choice independently for 10 minutes.

Take 10 is a campaign to promote the well-being benefits of reading, and as Lower I discovered, reading can help you relax and boost your mood.
