Upper V Mural

on

The Upper V ended their GCSE mock exam season with a fitting celebration of Christmas dinner, followed by the all important and keenly awaited new mural reveal. Designed and created by the full Upper V cohort, implemented by the student-led mural team and kindly supported by Mr Suret in the Art department.

The uplifting, colourful and amusing creation depicts all of the year group in animated individually chosen characters, including Head of Year, Mrs Sikorski, as a red crab and Mrs Staines as a sea turtle. Mr le Fleming kindly helped with the unveiling at lunchtime today and was delighted too by the finished result.

We have no doubt that it will be much admired throughout this academic year, a current Lower V was heard to say “ours has to be better!” A hard act to follow, we reckon! Huge congratulations to all involved.
