Thursday 1  December

All Abbey families are invited to join us after school on Thursday 1 December for our Candlelit Procession including a mini fair with stalls and games, Christmas carols and festive music from the Rock Band. Hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and other seasonal treats. 

When? 1 December, 3.45pm to 6.30pm

Approximate timings:

– 3.45pm mini fair run by Upper II and Lower III students

– 4.45pm music and carols at the Junior School

– 5.10pm candlelit procession (bring your own lanterns and battery-operated candles)

– 5.30pm carols at the Senior School, followed by seasonal refreshments and festive music from the Rock Band 

Where? Starting at the Junior School with the fair and carols, then walking with lanterns down Kendrick Road to the Senior School for more music and refreshments. 

Who? This is a free event open to all Abbey families – Abbey students, siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, carers – anyone who would like to enjoy some festive fun.  All are welcome to join for part of or the whole event.

Further information will be shared closer to the time but please make a note of the date in your calendar!
