Roman Day

on

Upper I had great fun this week learning about life as a Roman and spending time as a Roman soldier with Boudicca! They enjoyed food tasting, marching, mosaics and even created their own soldier!

Some quotes from Upper I:

The workshop was the best bit as I learnt what it was like to be a Roman soldier including how to use our shields in battle.  Isabella

I enjoyed it when we made a tortoise formation with our shields. They protected us from flying arrows! Saee

I liked trying new foods. The honey, figs and dates were delicious. Rosa

We worked together as a team to create the helmet for our soldier. It was tricky at first as we all had lots of ideas but we collaborated to make an amazing and strong helmet . Avika, Hui Hui, Abby
