Physics Trip

on

Physics students in Sixth Form eagerly embarked on a school trip to Kontax Engineering Ltd in Maidenhead where we watched interactive exhibits and participated in hands-on experiments.

We explored the principles of motion, gas laws and electromagnetic forces through creations made by engineers in the company. We saw the physics behind the tensegrity table and chaos pendulum, which was very interesting. The trip provided us with a dynamic and engaging environment, and allowed us to apply theoretical knowledge to real engineering.

We also gained an insight into how engineering and software works. This made complex physics concepts accessible but also sparked lively discussions amongst us.

The school trip was an enriching experience that bridged the gap between classroom learning and practical application, and was therefore truly enjoyable.
