National Children’s Orchestra

Four members of the Junior School Orchestra have been celebrating this week having found out that they had all secured a place in the National Children’s Orchestra Projects Programme.

Emma (violin), Rina (cello), Emma (viola) and Amy (Bassoon) all from Lower III, will attend two weekend courses in the Spring and Summer of 2024, each with a musical theme. The program offers a range of well-known music, as well as new music specifically written for young musicians.

The four talented Junior School musicians are delighted to be playing with a community of like-minded peers in the NCO. The organisation provides a nurturing environment and opportunities for musical development through intensive training, collaborative performances, and chances to learn from experienced professionals. We look forward to hearing more about their experience playing in the NCO.  Well done!
