Model UN

on

Last week, students from Lower V to Upper VI took part in our first Model UN session of the year. Each student took on the profile of a country to debate and discuss a resolution on abortion and women’s health around the world, under the excellent chairmanship of some of our Current Affairs Prefects.

In the session, students had to collaborate and debate the issues surrounding the topic before trying to draft a joint resolution based on the position of each country.

The students did an excellent job crafting the resolution and enjoyed the opportunity to discuss and debate different ideas.

Looking ahead, we’ll be taking part in competitions, running sessions with other schools and continue to have after school sessions throughout the year and is open to all students from Lower V to Upper VI.
