Lower V River Chess Geography Trip

on

On Wednesday Lower V GCSE Geography students visited the River Chess to explore the characteristics of the river.

We measured the velocity, depth, width, bed load and the wetter perimeter of the river. It was a very enjoyable day and luckily the weather stayed dry even if our socks didn’t!

The students had fun completing activities in and out of the river and overall had an exciting and productive day.
