To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, students explored how big the number ‘70’ is. Activities included working collaboratively to make a Union Flag paper chain with exactly 70 links, and counting out groups of 10 objects to fill 7 hoops. The children were amazed at how big the number is, and how many years the Queen has served our country compared to how old they are!
