Interludes Recital

on

Three pianists and one violinist were well received by the appreciative audience at our Interludes Recital this week.

The programme began with a spirited performance of T-Rex Hungry by Ivana, closely followed by Aryakka playing a dramatic rendition of Different World.  Both pianists succeeded in conveying the unique styles of their pieces to the audience and these were also in complete contrast to Eli’s musical and lilting performance of Sicilienne, the next item on the programme.  Anya then concluded the recital with her own composition which she had not named.

However, when the audience were asked their opinions on what images the music had evoked, a range of ideas were suggested, including a portrayal of the French Resistance in the war, waves and a haunted fairground!  Perhaps Anya will take inspiration from these proposals?  Please do come along to our next recital on 7 February!
