Our Head’s award this week was presented by Mr Le Fleming and Miss Kaura….
“Esha used her knowledge about how air flow works to create a pneumatic monster!
Having conducted an investigation in class about how air flow can move objects, such as a toy car or the pages of a book, she applied this knowledge and understanding at home to make a pneumatic monster with an opening and closing mouth.
She realised she could add varying amounts of pressure to inflate and deflate a balloon in order to get the lid of her box to open and close.
Well done, Esha, on your independent scientific investigation! I am delighted to award you the Head’s Award for this project.”
