Yashasvee has been working hard to learn a style of Karate called Shotokan, which she is currently a red belt. 

On Sunday 13 November Yashasvee travelled to the University of Hertfordshire and put all her hard work into competing at the Karate National Grade Championships against over ten other clubs. She competed in individual and team categories. In her individual competition she placed 3rd overall and received a trophy. 

Yashasvee’s second competition was a team effort where she teamed up with two other competitors from Staines and they were awarded 2nd place. A huge congratulations!
