Farm Playtime

on

Little Knellies joined Miss Allard in an invitation to play this week.

The children worked collaboratively to build a farm. The ducks needed a pond, so Viola set to making one. The children decided that the pigs needed mud to roll in, so Maya and Maliha coloured some paper brown, and the pigs did roll!

Enclosures were constructed from bits of paper to stop the horses from escaping! Ayla drew grass so that the cows had plenty of food, and hay bales were coloured and cut for the horses to eat. As the children played they all began singing ‘Old McDonald had a farm! What a busy, busy farmyard today!’
