British Physics Olympia

on

Eight of the UVI A-level Physics students took the British Physics Olympiad Paper last term. This paper is to challenge a range of student knowledge, preparation and ability, allowing access for good students, whilst also aiming at stretching and challenging the top young physicists in the country in a national competition. This year 3,137 students from 482 schools participated from the UK and from a few schools overseas. Certificates are awarded to the top students with only the top 150 getting a Gold award and the next 200 getting a Silver award.

So our 8 students did extremely well with seven Silver Awards and one Gold Award.

The SILVER Awards went to:

ALISA

MONA

ROSIE

CHLOE

ELSIE

KITTY

HELENA

and the GOLD Award went to

SHRIYAA

Congratulations to all these students for this exceptional achievement!
