The Reception children were visited by Bluey the bird this week as they began their new unit of Inquiry about ‘Where We Are in Place and Time’.

She left them a letter and a trail on a map. Armed with her maps we set off to follow it in the Knell Garden…x marked the spot! The children successfully navigated their immediate environment to find an exciting treasure chest of maps and stickers.

We look forward now to learning to read and draw more maps as well as finding out about our local and global connections.
