Wednesday 9 November was a busy evening for the U12 netballers! The A and B squads competed in their first South East Berkshire tournament with Miss Appleby and Miss Beesley, whilst the U12C team prepared for their tournament the following day with a fixture against Wycombe Abbey with Miss Venning. Our A team came 2nd to a very strong Newlands side, and the U12 B team came 3rd on goal difference.

“In the semi-finals we played St Mary’s and we dealt with the pressure really well, got lots of interceptions and scored really good goals. We got into the finals and were up against Newlands. In the first half we played really well and managed to get the score to 2 all. We played really well but lost our flow towards the end and ended up losing to Newlands by 2 goals. We still managed to get 2nd place and walk away with a medal!”.

Our C team competed in their tournament on Thursday 10 November with Miss Venning and Miss Appleby. With 7 matches in total, they played a huge amount of netball! Well done on your 9th place finish and to the various players of the match across each game.
