The Breakfast Challenge

on

This week in food the Upper V have been revising in a practical way – making a breakfast for each other and together, showing as many factors of food science that they can in one meal.  The students worked hard to create some wonderful pancakes, omelettes, hash browns, strawberry tarts and pastries as well as a wonderful classic full English breakfast which won the day with no less than 11 flags.  Well done, Upper V!

Hannah, who took part in the session commented, “I really enjoyed taking part in the revision breakfast as it meant we got to work with our friends and come up with our own dishes. It was interesting to see the other teams’ dishes and see how they had incorporated each skill into their dish. I found it really useful as we were revising the many skills that we have looked at during our course but also great fun whilst doing it.”
