The U16 hockey team finished second in the South Central Schools Regional Championships at Reading Hockey Club on Thursday 17 November. 

The competition featured the top two teams from the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire county championships. The tournament consisted of three pools games, and the top teams progressed to the semi final and final.

The team remained unbeaten throughout the championships only losing in the final on penalties to Eggars School. 

Pool B Great Marlow School Won 3-1 (Emily 2, Lois)

Pool B Bloxham School Draw 1-1 (Lois)

Semi Beaconsfield High School Draw 1-1 (Emily) – won on penalties

Final Eggar’s School Draw 1-1 (Lily R) – lost on penalties

The U18 hockey team beat Ryde School Sport 4-0 to finish third in the South Central School

Regional Hockey Championships, having lost 1-3 to eventual winners St Marys Ascot earlier in the tournament.
