Trips Week: Paris Lower V and Lower VI

on

Paris day 1: After a straightforward journey and a welcome visit to a French supermarket, students attended their French lessons in the morning and sampled the cultural treats of the vibrant capital city, which is ready to host the Olympic Games.

Exploring the Marais Quarter allowed them to enjoy the beautiful architecture of the historic Place des Vosges and to visit a nearby colourful food-covered market. Students then learned about the secret of bread and croissant making at a local boulangerie- and some skilful students tried their hand at this traditional art with wonderful and delicious results! Last but not least, the day ended with the great panoramic views from Montmartre and the stunning Sacré Coeur basilica. What a fun-packed day we all had!

On the second day of our trip, students had a fabulous time at the Parc Astérix, trying the various rides, discovering the adventures of Astérix, watching the parade and shopping for souvenirs!

Another fun-packed day in Paris! After lessons, we all enjoyed our cruise on the Bateau Mouche and the break-taking panorama from the top of the Montparnasse Tower. We’ve really made the most of our last day in the French capital!
