Lower III TinkerCad Design

on

Lower III have continued their inquiry into how businesses can design sustainable products by exploring ways in which 3D printing can be used to meet needs on an on-demand basis.

They were introduced to the iPad app Tinkercad, to learn more about computer aided design and fulfil the brief set out by their client, Mr Stevens. Students are designing a device to keep the dust out of their iPad headphone jack and help make their iPads more easily identifiable.

It was great to see students’ enthusiasm for the project and their creativity in developing their designs to a very exacting brief. We will be printing them on our 3D printer soon, so keep your eyes on this space to see how our designs turn out!
