Life Education Workshops

Last week Coram Life Education visited the Junior school and delivered workshops which enhanced our learning of some topics that we cover in PSHE.

Each class attended a session, which was run at an appropriate level for their age. Many of the sessions looked at body systems such as the brain and nervous system, and the digestive system.

We looked at the organs inside the body and discussed ways to keep them healthy. Having enough sleep, a balanced diet and regular exercise were seen as the most important factors.

One of the most exciting parts of each session is a chance to meet Harold the Giraffe and to help him solve a problem which might involve managing his emotions, or dealing with a friendship issue.
