A Unique Insight into a Career in Law

Next week we welcome Court of Appeal Judge, Lady Justice Geraldine Andrews DBE, to The Abbey.

This is a unique opportunity for our students to gain an insight into the legal profession from a distinguished member of the Senior Judiciary.

Dame Geraldine was educated in the Reading area and later became the first woman graduate of King’s College London to be appointed a High Court Judge, becoming part of a proportionately small but growing group of women.

Students from Kendrick and The Holt schools will join us for this talk, as we continue to work collaboratively with local partner schools to enrich the learning experiences of all young people in the Reading community.

We will also be welcoming eminent guests from the judiciary, police and education in Berkshire for this very special evening at The Abbey.
