Yesterday, some of our sports scholars and volunteers attended their very first ‘ice bath’ workshop. With a strong focus on physical and mental challenge, each student aimed to submerge in 10 degrees of water for 60 seconds.
Amazingly, all of the students achieved this time, and even wanted to carry on for longer!
Cold water therapy has been proven to enhance muscle repair and improve our mental mindset overcoming the challenge of being fully submerged in cold water. We look forward to our next ice bath challenge!
