The year 6 netball team from the Abbey Junior School participated at the competitive IAPS netball tournament which took place at Wellington College on Wednesday 22 February 2023. Teams from 18 different schools took part in the tournament. Our team played the first round of matches and won all of them taking us into the quarter finals. Although we played brilliantly, unfortunately we were unable to win enough matches to be able to reach the semi-finals.

 Our defence was outstanding with our players making some well timed interceptions and tips. There were some great passes across the court from the centre to the goal attack who along with the shooter scored our team many goals. Our team has had an excellent opportunity participating in the IAPS and hope to use this experience to improve our game.
