GSA Psychology Festival

On Tuesday 28th November, 17 Upper VI Psychology students attended a Psychology Festival at St Swithun’s School in Winchester which gave them a taste of the diverse aspects that psychology has to offer.

The guest speakers included Sarah Hyndman, author of Why Fonts Matter, and Dr Peter Lovatt (also known as Dr Dance – https://www.peterlovatt.com) as well as a talk from Portsmouth University about how our senses can be tricked.

It was an enriching afternoon that extended the students experience of psychology beyond the A Level and IB specifications. We now fully expect them to incorporate dance into their revision strategies for the upcoming mock exams!
