This week the Upper IV students created a fairtrade fair, which helped the girls to understand more about fairtrade, and the rising issues in countries that rely on farming as their main source of income. Many different foods were presented in the fair and groups explained how fairtrade affects the lives of farmers by setting a baseline income and improving their quality of life. The Upper IVs enjoyed and benefited from this experience and learnt a lot through visiting each stall.
