Diversity Day

Miss Elliott (she/her)

Last Friday at the Senior School we celebrated our first ever Diversity Day. It was a wonderful day which created a genuine lovely buzz around the school where students of all years and teachers connected over shared stories, experiences and cultures. I can’t wait to plan more events like this with our incredible prefects! Speaking of them, they’d like to share their thoughts on the day with you all. Over to you Olly and Dilaanshi!

It was an incredibly memorable event and I feel honoured to have helped put it together for its very first year! It was so beautiful to see students and teachers bonding over their shared experiences and cultures and to witness them sharing and teaching others about what they love about their traditions felt truly special. I had the best time and I hope that next year we can get even more student involvement!!

Dilaanshi Prasad (she/her)

It was incredible to see the variety of cultures within our school and celebrate them with each other. Witnessing so many students and staff come together reinforced the vibrant and diverse community we have created and provides a sense of unity that we all carry.
