Das Leben der Anderen Film Seminar

on

On Tuesday 5 March, our German A Level group was delighted to welcome Sixth Form German students from Reading School to an online film workshop.

As part of their A Level course, they are studying the film ‘Das Leben der Anderen’ (The Lives of Others), which offers an insight into the world of the secret police or ‘Stasi’ in East Germany during the 1980s.

The seminar was run by the British Film Institute and offered an excellent opportunity for the students to revise key scenes from the film, as well as analyse camera techniques – brilliant preparation for their upcoming exams!
