This week we celebrated World Book Day with great gusto at the Junior School. Students and teachers got into the spirit of things by dressing up as their favourite book characters.

It was impressive to hear how much the students had thought deeply about the attributes and values exemplified by the book characters in relation to the Abbey Learner Profile. 

Thank you to all of the families who have donated pre-loved books to our Abbey Book Drive in support of the charity Children’s Book Project. The efforts of the Junior School Charity Captains and Library Champions deserve a commendable mention as these students raised awareness of the joy that books can bring to disadvantaged children across the UK.
