Tuesday saw the whole Sixth Form embrace a cosy dress code as students came to school in their pyjamas to raise money. Proceeds were divided between our nominated charity, Cleft and the Upper VI Leavers’ Ball. The day was full of good humour and generosity, with everyone getting involved.
After school, the Upper VI stayed behind for a relaxed PJ party, enjoying a screening of Wild Child – featuring the completely fictional girls’ school ‘Abbey Mount’ with absolutely no resemblance to our own Abbey whatsoever. The evening was complete with takeaway pizza, popcorn and plenty of sweets.
It was a lovely opportunity for the year group to unwind and spend time together after the recent mock exams, which they approached with real focus and determination over the past few weeks. Everyone enjoyed a well-deserved chance to relax, and the evening was a great reminder of the strong sense of community within the Upper VI.
