Upper V Revision Breakfast!

Finally the time has come for the GCSE Food & Nutrition students to go on study leave. Celebrating their last lesson in Food the students enjoyed one last hurrah! THE Revision Breakfast!

Our Upper V food students invested their time cooking breakfast for each other, competing to include as many food terms as possible in their work, identifying them as they went to revise their knowledge at the same time as having fun, sharing their food and their ideas. They were amazing! From such simple classics, such as English and American pancakes, to some modern choices including French toast, American style breakfast, and a special dish of avocado with poached eggs, topped with hollandaise sauce.

Ultimately, our winners were two special dishes of avocado poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, and eggs cooked in four different ways; poached, fried, scrambled, and the intriguing…Cloud eggs!

We are so proud of the Upper V students for showing such resilience this year. Working so hard to complete their written coursework and their practical examination. Good Luck to all of our students over the next few weeks!
