Upper IV Food Challenge

on

This term, the Upper IV Food and Nutrition students took part in the Tunnock’s Teacake Challenge, organised by the Food Teacher Centre. Each student was given a single teacake and challenged to create a dessert using advanced food styling and plating techniques. The theme, Around the World in a Bite, encouraged creativity and cultural inspiration.

All students produced imaginative design concepts and thoroughly enjoyed the process of arranging and presenting their dishes. Mrs Mair, Mr Roper, and I will select the student who has presented the teacake in the most creative and innovative way. In March, the Abbey’s top student will be entered into the national competition.
