Upper IV British Food Session

on

Upper IV have been working hard on their British Food project this week making some wonderful dishes, all using British ingredients from British farmers.  Ashika adapted her pineapple upside down cake to be a British apple upside down cake and served it with custard! Emma made carrot cakes using British carrots from Norfolk and Erin made fairy cakes using British sugar from beet and added a Coronation theme.  Rebecca made treacle tart and custard and Sabrina and Tabitha made sticky toffee pudding and custard.  Maya and Hannah made shepherd’s pies from British beef and Emily and Rishika made fragrant and aromatic roti with chicken tikka masala, using British grown chicken.

The students are embracing the theme and have made some truly appetising dishes.
