Upper I Residential to Avon Tyrrell

on

Last week, Upper I embraced adventure, nature, and friendship on their exciting residential trip to Avon Tyrrell. Blessed with glorious sunshine, the girls threw themselves into a wide variety of outdoor activities, all designed to challenge, inspire and build confidence.

From soaring through the trees on the zipline and braving the high ropes, to scaling climbing walls and descending with courage during abseiling, each pupil pushed beyond their comfort zone and discovered just how much they could achieve. Whether pond dipping by the water’s edge or creating beautiful nature-inspired art, the group also made time to connect with their stunning surroundings and appreciate the peace and beauty of the natural world.

Evenings were just as memorable, with board games and laughter filling the dorms as friendships deepened and new bonds were formed. A cosy campfire under the stars—with toasted marshmallows and songs—was a true highlight, creating memories the girls will cherish for years to come.

Throughout the trip, the girls showed immense kindness and support for one another. Their teamwork, positivity and encouragement were inspiring to witness, and it was a joy to see each student grow in confidence and resilience over the course of the stay.

It was a truly unforgettable experience—and one that will no doubt be remembered as a special part of their Upper I journey.
