In Upper One, our year long PYP Unit of Inquiry focuses on ‘Who We Are’, and our central idea is ‘Symbols are used to express and communicate beliefs and values’.
The Upper I students have completed various tasks where they have been required to think deeper into who they are as a person. Understanding who we are and being more self-aware, lends to enhanced self-development, acceptance, and confidence while benefiting our overall mental health. Over the course of the year they will be researching the similarities and differences of the six major World Religions, reflecting on their own beliefs and values.
