On Wednesday 14 May, Abbey Junior School took part in the U11 IAPS Cricket Tournament held at West Hill Park. Eight pupils from Upper II and Lower III enjoyed a fantastic day of cricket in the sunshine. Throughout the day, the team showed excellent progress in both batting and bowling. Their impressive bowling and fielding skills were noted by several other schools, particularly during the match against Westbourne House, where our bowlers took an outstanding 6 wickets in just 4 overs. The team’s best performances came with decisive victories over Upton House by 45 runs and St George’s, Windsor by 19 runs.
