In the early hours of Monday morning, vast regions of southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria were hit by a series of devastating earthquakes. Thousands of people have been displaced from their homes and left unable to access basic resources, while others remain trapped under rubble and debris. Search and rescue operations across the affected provinces have been made even more challenging by the harsh conditions posed by freezing winter temperatures. With a rapidly growing number of casualties and fatalities, the situation is becoming more desperate as local authorities and organisations are struggling to provide sufficient resources to alleviate the situation.
We are looking to arrange a fundraising event to raise awareness of the impact of this devastating event following the half term break. In the meantime, if you are able to donate please follow any of the links below to help with the funding of relief efforts.
