The Abbey School Sugar Craft Club have been busy this term making the sugar flowers for Miss Power’s wedding cake. Commissioned by Miss Power, Head of Upper III, the group has remained dedicated to making the most beautiful design for her Spring wedding. Each flower, bud and berry had been made by hand from sugar, wire and tape, ready for the big day.

Students from across the Lower School have attended the club regularly, learning this fine art and making all of the items that will make their design come to life. The group will meet again next week to make and decorate the cake itself. They will then visit the venue to construct and set up Miss Power’s delicious cake, ready for display.
