On Thursday 19 March 2026, The Abbey will be hosting its biennial Careers Fair – with representatives from a wide range of universities and businesses in attendance. This is a great opportunity for students (and their parents) to come along and start exploring options available to them when they finish Sixth Form and move on to the next stage in their career journey. Whether this might take the form of studying for a degree or starting a degree-level apprenticeship, visitors will have the opportunity to discuss these options with universities and businesses from a wide-range of industry sectors.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear from our keynote speaker – Baroness Ruby MacGregor-Smith CBE – who will be sharing details of her journey and discussing the importance of developing employability skills in the fast-changing world of work.
The Fair will run from 5.30pm to 8pm and visitors will need to book via this link.
Refreshments will be available throughout the evening and we encourage students and their families throughout the school to attend. Watch our socials for more details on this over the coming weeks – we are looking forward to welcoming you to this event.
