TAPS would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr le Fleming, who will be stepping down as Headteacher of The Abbey School in the summer of 2025. Under his exceptional leadership, the school has not only flourished but also grown into a place where both students and staff can thrive. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication, vision, and the unwavering support he has shown to the school community. His contributions have made a lasting impact, and we will always appreciate the care and commitment he has put into making The Abbey School the wonderful place it is today.

As we say goodbye to Mr le Fleming, we also look ahead with excitement to the future.

The Parents’ Society is a vital part of our school community, and their presence is always warmly welcomed at various events throughout the year. Whether it’s lending a hand at Open Days, supporting the Fun Run, welcoming new families during Year Welcome events or contributing to many other activities, TAPS involvement helps to foster a strong and vibrant school spirit. 

For example, during one of the recent Open Day events that took place over the weekend, the Parents’ Society was present too. Their contribution truly enhanced the experience for prospective families and showcased the wonderful spirit of our community.

TAPS is delighted to welcome Dr Tullis as the new Headteacher of The Abbey School. Dr Tullis is already a familiar and cherished presence among students and staff alike, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. We are excited for the journey ahead under her leadership, confident that her vision and dedication will guide The Abbey School to even greater heights. We look forward to working together with Dr Tullis to continue building a strong, supportive, and thriving school community.
